3 WAYS TO WORK IT
The Basics: It’s a classic silhouette, and one we all have in our closets, but how do we make it feel new.. exciting.. feminine.. fresh? It’s all in the styling! A button down collared shirt is an inherently masculine silhouette, but styled and accessorized the right way, it can be sexy, chic, and flattering. Most important is going for a style that is fitted and tailored that shows off your feminine shape. We prefer ones in feminine colors, stripes, or patterns, but white is always a classic as well. Roll the sleeves, throw on a belt, try tucking it in with skinnies… just be sure to show a little attitude (and a little skin) to keep this classic piece current and fresh.
A Rainy Day: We love it with cutoffs, a lightweight jacket, and a fun necklace for an easy, casual day. Tucked in with a blazer for a more structured look, or a military jacket and wellies for a cool or rainy day!
At the Office: We paired ours with a current favorite: a bright color pencil skirt. Nothing shows off your feminine shape like a pencil skirt, and we love the juxtaposition of the inherent masculine and feminine styles playing off each other.
