3 WAYS TO WORK IT

The Basics: Menswear fabrics are a classic… at times fashion takes them to a new level whether that be in color or an of-the-moment silhouette… but tweed, herringbone, houndstooth, and those of that ilk will never go out of style. You probably already have a tweed pant that’s been sitting in your closet since your first job out of college. The only thing to ask yourself is does the fit feel current and do I feel good when I put these on? If the answer is yes, hang on to them and keep them fresh with pattern mixing, a pretty blouse, and current silhouettes and accessories. You can dress them up for the office, the club, your house of prayer, or whatever the need for more-conservative attire may be… but don’t be afraid to throw on a comfy sweater, fun scarf, and flats to run around town in put-together fashion. We’re seeing tweed (and loving it) in all silhouettes this season from dresses and jackets, to shoes and bags!

Around Town: Blazers are the layering piece of choice this fall, and a tweed version goes with just about anything. Throw it on with your go-to skinnies and any feminine top (tee, blouse, sweater… you name it) and elevate your look to chic status.

Sophisticated Edge: Full skirts are ultra feminine, and we love the silhouette in traditional menswear tweed fabric. Pair with a pretty lace top and an edgy leather moto jacket for that look that is girly, grown up, and edgy all at once.
